Hearing the Unseen

I do not come before you singularly. I come before you with forces unseen by your eyes and unseen by the eyes of the many. Yet the spirits are there as surely as the sun shines upon my face now as I write this. Feel this with me, with the physical memory of the melanin which marks our existence, feel it. The sun of a hopeful dawn casting rays of light into all the shadows about us. In this light we may see. In this light the blind amongst us may see. I hope that the light may grant you its healing powers and you may see, as I do, from the sun, through so much space, into so much pain, into so much tribulation, into so much death and despair which has marked the human condition in North America since the creation of Slavery here. Since the forced removals from Africa. Since the rows upon rows of spoon fashion. Since the face down in excrement, since the testes display at the auction block.

Since the selling off of families, since the creation of the words Buck and Bitch, Nigger,Nigga, and Black hoe, Black Whore, cumly Black Wench. Since the creation of favors and encoding of the words White Massa into the psyche of the African brought to America. Since the first of us to be born enslaved here.

Since all of these things came to pass beneath the sun, and have been denied by those who did them, this has been the African American experience. Death, despair, and oppression. This can only be denied by those of us who have not healed, who have denied the life giving sun, who have denied the voices of enlightened ancestors who have never, never, never been mute. In our dreams they speak, in our art they speak, in our every day lives they would speak to those who would hear. They speak through us but never for us.

Let us understand this now and strive for the rest of our lives if we do not, reparations are not for them, they would tell us, could we hear. I say hear again, reparations are not for them. Can money ever undo what has been done, what was done unto them? Even in the fading light of history, even as the memory of the ignoble oppressor dies by what can only called the memory suppression of the tragic Massa, this may be understood by the worst amongst us, the less of them, and the most sick of both of us--their brains, spirits, very selves unable to process what this society once was, is, and has become. This society was and is a race driven hell. This no longer can nor should be denied. The ghettos tell us this. Every one of our experiences tells us this.

And in all of this let us understand those who were subjected to so much would not want money for their pain. No amount of money can ever wash the blood, the anguish, the incredible pain of 3/5ths away. To believe so would only cement one's own status as slave. This is certain, even if that thing so obvious is incomprehensible to the most intelligent amongst of us.

Nor should we want money now...For the marker for the debt has no earthly value.....


Money can not put the progeny of the enslaved African in America in a better or whole place, now. And perhaps not ever. We are as we stand in the 21st century, when stripped bare before our own idiocy and denials, at best a poor shadow of the first ancestor who stood on the banks of the Nile and built the pyramids, who created mathematics, who pioneered exploration of the soul and the earth, even as he founded theosophy. But our failure to embrace our ancestry and potential now has nothing to do with the chains of another and rather so much more with the chains of our own. And if we can not understand this then we have only confirmed our status as 3/5ths a person in this society, now. Let us understand the chains we have refused to break. Look with true eyes at the God of enslavement given us and never rebuffed by so many. A return to God as we knew It and Know It in our ancestral memory would begin to break these chains....

Ask yourself what would that money serve, if we received it now, if you can not understand this. How could that money serve anything other than the worse of us in the most of us, if we are not changed? Historically money has been used to lure us away from ourselves, our culture, our God. How without change within can there be any thing else without? And Reparation means nothing, is nothing if it is only given and used to create more of what is, more of this you see around you....

No, our current and past slavery is not about money so it could not be solved with such.And that is the problem, the reason my ancestors have pushed me, night and day to this writing. Viewing this from the sun, we have not understood this. We have, so many of us, allowed this issue to be defined by its antithesis, by what it is not about that what it is about is and has been lost. And because of that I must write this you read.

It is not about repayment.Look around you, these images are provided not to shock and anger but to show you in very real ways how thoughts of money pale beside what occurred.

And to seek payment, shillings, dimes, nickles, quarters, thousands and millions, because you choose to be so spiritually incorrigible as to believe life can be purchased and spiritual energy can be compensated with mortal means creates another Massa...within you.

Truly, the dead own a debt that can never be repaid with earthly things when we speak of these atrocities which we do. Understand? And is that understanding felt with the clarity a view from he life giving sun can bring? Only before The One will their heart be...And then, and only then, can it be unmade.

And it is not about revenge. That needs no more than a statement; for if your heart, your very spirit is still there, then there can be no discussion which will make you grow. Divine Love must be your food. Divine Love must be lived until you know His love in Her world. then you may hear these words, only then may you hear what wafts through this world on unseen winds in unseen ways....

The marker has no earthly value.....

Reparations are not to fulfill a moral debt. Consider that more than once because it is so easy to believe that such a monumental statement very well could be construed as such. And indeed it has been. Atonement is such a private matter, a very real tangible affect of the spirit, true regret expressed to another or oneself before God, it can not be extorted no matter the guilt of party, even if it has enslaved a race for a darker sake, and denied guilt to the darker progeny for the sake of their own fragile mental and spiritual health. And make no mistake as you stand here beneath he life giving sun with me, filled with the spirit of our ancestors, the unswerving denial you hear in every denial of current racist actions, words, thought, and deed is done so only out of collective denial for the sake of their mental and spiritual health. No, Reparations are not about worldly atonement. You may believe atonement here in this world is spiritual, but desired by your lustful heart and given at the butt of the moral gun, it can only be worldly.

Reparations are about healing. The healing of all involved. From those so many who have benefited from the worst of what their ancestors have had to offer in this brave new world every time they are incarnated to this planet, to the many who have been born to suffer, for suffer we have and do every day of our dark experience here in our barrier plagued existence upon the earth. For that healing to occur, we can, must and shall, forgive with out pause, but remember what occurred to everyone of our ancestors and us here. Forgive, forgive, and forgive again.

For viewing this issue of Reparations from the sun, our forgiveness of our ignoble current oppressor and their ancestors is the only we and they may grow spiritually and that is the very reason for Reparations. And Spiritual Growth is the only reason we have incarnated to this planet. With out such a goal then Reparations are less than spiritually worthy our efforts, and even less effective an earthly tool, even worthless as the paper or any other physical form it may take.

Please do consider this as I have given it to you. Our ancestors who live in the light wish it and hope that you may deny all of your earthly pain and despair and the voices of those ancestors who have passed from the physical but have adhered to the earth to the detriment of their own spiritual growth as you start to grow strong enough to accept your incarnated ancestral duties and dreams had long before you arrived to its earthly manifestation. Ancestral duties of strength, forgiveness, and love. Dreams of the same....

We must come to peace with what has been done to them our ancestors, what continues to be done to us. We will find strength in that peace. And we must if we are to grow strong.

For when we grow strong enough to forgive, as a people, even as we grow strong enough to truly never forget, only then in the atmosphere of Divine Love will the ignoble oppressor be made strong enough to grant what will make him whole, the Reparations of their whispered dreams so that they may move forward as they want with all their hearts, so clear in all their denials, all their painful manifestations of their sickness we know as racists actions....


Only then will America know a peace it has not in so long, since the day of the first ancestor. Because they and we have remained sick since that first day with the fever we all carry in its many manifestations, hot and ill with the thirst for hate, for revenge, for compensation, for redemption, for superiority, for objectification, for domination...We and they have thirsted for anything but the spiritual transcending forgiveness of Divine Love. The mythic elusive peace may be found in that Divine Love. It seems so antithetical to the goal, but that is what we all must reach for now because it is the only way to get to the Reparations this culture so desperately needs so that there may be peace in so many homes. The peace that is the only reason for Reparations.

Circular but true here in the light of the sun....peace is the only reason for Reparations and only peace can lead to Reparations. But peace may only be found in forgiveness, on this issue. May we one day create the societal conditions for Reparations given, but not fought for in the divine light from the sun glowing the rays of forgiveness in our hearts and theirs...

And on that day we will be, all of us, strong enough to realize the marker has never had any earthly value, though there is a debt to be paid.
